STAIN SURVIVAL GUIDE
We know that doing laundry isn’t
the most entertaining job you’ll
tackle at school. From grass to makeup stains, these solutions will keep your
clothes clean AND fit into your schedule.
GREASY FOOD: Pretreat with Tide® Liquid. Work detergent into stain.
Let sit for 10-15 minutes. Check label for hottest washing temperature
permitted and wash as directed.
GRASS: Soak for 30 minutes in
Tide® with
water, then run through a normal wash cycle. The grass is gone.
BEVERAGES: For fresh stains first rinse in cool water. Then check label
for washing temperature and wash in Tide®. For old stains use Tide® with
Bleach or Tide® Liquid with Bleach Alternative.
INK: Carefully apply ink remover to the stained area. Blot with paper
towels. Wash in warm water with 1 use of Tide®. Air dry.
ANTIPERSPIRANT: Turn the garment inside-out and pre-treat using Tide® Liquid.
Let garment sit for 30 minutes. Check label for hottest washing temperature
permitted and wash with 2 uses of Tide® with Bleach Alternative.
Air dry.
LIPSTICK: For heavy stains scrape stain away and shake off residue.
Use spot remover. Pretreat using Tide® Liquid. Wash in warm water
with 1 use of Tide®. Air dry.
P.S. If the stain is still visible, repeat process before drying. |
